Guests took advantage of a great line-up of stars to post a record-setting summer in 2008 at Meadow Brook Music Festival. The venue hosted six sold out shows, the most in its 15 summers under Palace Sports & Entertainment's management. The schedule was highlighted by a full house for its first concert, James Taylor on June 4, and a stretch of four sellouts in an eight day stretch: Trace Adkins on July 17, "Weird Al" Yankovic on July 18, Crosby, Stills & Nash on July 19, Live/Blues Traveler/Collective Soul on July 24 and O.A.R. on July 25.
